Choosing a High-Flyer

What to do when a student counteroffers in their proposal?

Minite allows its student freelancers to propose a counteroffer, in the case they feel their experience, knowledge and skills exceed the current rate set for the job. If a High-Flyer does counteroffer, first consider if you are willing to pay that amount for their profile and what it offers.

We suggest going through their proposal and profile, taking the time to analyse it and if you are comfortable with paying them their proposed counteroffer, feel free to invite them to an interview! You may also reject their counteroffer by simply rejecting their proposal. Oftentimes when High-Flyers counter, they have good reason to do so; be it more experience/qualification or successful freelance projects in the past. Usually, it is something valuable that sets them apart for those extra euros!
