Posting a Job

How to post a great freelance job?

Minite gives employers access to High-Flyers from around the world for virtually any type of project. We'd love to give you a few tips for posting a freelancer job that will attract the attention of the right High-Flyers and make the process of hiring your next High-Flyer an enjoyable and rewarding experience for both of you! Start by explaining who you are as a company.

What do you do and what do you stand for? Most of the time, students look not only at the work itself, but also at the company as a whole. Students look for things that make them feel like applying for your company. Try to make it tempting. The most coveted entrepreneurs often have a twist in their story or pitch that sets them apart from the competition, or even something funny. Anything that catches the eye and is unique is good to write down! Know what you're looking for. While a good High-Flyer may be able to fill in some gaps in a project description, your best bet for getting quality offers is knowing what you're looking for. If you're not sure what to ask, do some research before posting.

Create a clear, descriptive project name. A High-Flyer should be able to see what you're looking for at a glance. So try to formulate the name of your freelance assignment in such a way that it provides a direct, clear definition of what it entails. For instance, a freelance job called β€œE-Book” can attract the attention of graphic artists, writers, web developers, and others. A name like β€œWrite an E-Book about Snakes”, on the other hand, is likely to mainly provide quotes from writers and, in particular, writers with some knowledge about snakes or sources for the subject.

Please provide a detailed description. Your description should answer as many potential questions as possible. Think about what is required of the provider you hire and be as clear as possible.

List the qualifications you're looking for β€” what would be nice to have and what's a must. Select the required skills correctly. Use all available skills if possible. Many High-Flyers are looking for projects based solely on skills, so this will help your job gain visibility! Carefully considering your budget selection too low can eliminate some of the better candidates for your freelance job. A budget that is too high can open the door to price increases, but this is usually fairly easy to recognize. Either way, don't set a budget higher than what you're willing to pay to attract more experienced High-Flyers.
