If you are Dutch or have DigiD, follow these steps:

Step 1 Go to the KvK website and click on Register a new company

Step 2 Choose the legal form: eenmanszaak.

Step 3 Complete the digital registration form.

Step 4 Make an appointment at the location of your choice.

Step 5 Complete enrollment. Please note that you will be charged €50 once for your registration (on average, you will have earned that back in 1 job!)

Step 6 Congratulations! You are your own boss now. Fill in the details of your sole proprietorship so that your profile is complete and we can start making invoices for you.

If you do not have DigiD, follow these steps:

Step 1 Download this form (in English and Dutch), fill it out, and print it

Step 2 Go to the KvK website and make an appointment. Click “Make an appointment to register a company or change registration. The site will now change to Dutch. First, choose your nearest office, then select a date and time. Now, fill out your first name, last name, email address, and phone number.

Step 3 Complete your registration at the KvK office. Note that there is a one-time registration fee of 50 euro, payable at the KvK office.

Step 4 Congratulations! You are now a #FreelancingBoss!
