Hi Richard! Can you tell us more about how you learned about Minite?
β
I discovered Minite about two years ago when I was searching for a new job that aligned with the skills I was learning at my university. I didn't want to settle for working at a restaurant or doing typical part-time jobs that most students do. Instead, I wanted to focus on developing my skills for future use. During that time, I came across another job opening with a company near my location. I worked there for about a year and a half, but I continued to follow Minite on Instagram and subscribed to their newsletter to stay connected. I was intrigued by the opportunity to try something different and the flexibility of working remotely or in a hybrid setup. That's how I created my account on Minite. I submitted a proposal for my first job, was invited for an interview, and ultimately got the position.

I enjoy the autonomy and being able to take ownership of my work.
β
Nice job! What job are you doing now, and how has it been going so far?
β
I've been working at my current job for three months. It involves lead generation for a company that provides coaching services for entrepreneurs. The company operates on a franchise model, where coaches purchase specific areas in the Netherlands to offer their coaching services. My role is to assist in finding new coaches for different regions. It's called The Alternative Board (read about their Minite success story here!), and I support them with lead generation. Currently, I'm focused on identifying potential coaches interested in purchasing a coaching territory in the Netherlands. If everything goes well, I will also assist the coaches in finding entrepreneurs whom they can coach. There is so much room for growth in this aspect. The people I work with are friendly, and I have complete freedom in managing my time. I only need to work 10 to 15 hours per week, which I divide into a few hours daily. This schedule works well as it allows me to maintain a continuous flow of lead generation.

What do you enjoy most about your job at Minite?
β
One of the things I really like is my level of freedom. I enjoy the autonomy and being able to take ownership of my work. My boss provides me with the desired outcome, and it's up to me to decide how I will achieve it. I have complete control over the process. While I keep my boss updated and provide regular reports, I also have the opportunity to develop new ideas and discuss them with my boss. I have the freedom to experiment with different strategies and approaches.Β

What do you enjoy most about being a High-Flyer?
β
One of the things I love about being a High-Flyer is the opportunity to develop my skills while studying continuously. I appreciate the chance to explore various job opportunities. I have a good amount of free time, so I can easily browse the available jobs and apply for positions in different areas that pique my interest. This flexibility is something I truly value as a High-Flyer. I appreciate the freedom of the role, such as the ability to work remotely and set my hours. Having control over my schedule is something I enjoy.
