Co-founder Linky took the initiative to contact Eveline Ferwerda, founder of Scribit.Pro and within minutes a bond was created. Scribit.Pro is an online platform aiming to provide accessibility to videos for those with an audio or visual disability. “Clients can create or order subtitles, audio description, transcripts and even order a sign language translation for any online video.” With countless people in the Netherlands alone depending on subtitles to understand a video the way its creator(s) intended, and more still needing the aid of audio description to know what is happening on screen, Scribit.Pro saw a great market opportunity. “There's a great client potential that you can easily serve if you provide them with the proper supportive files.”

The tag team

As a fast growing start-up based in the heart of The Hague, they launched their video accessibility software and services two years ago and since then have learned a lot by working with their clients on a day-to-day basis. “With the clients input, our product and the services we offer have changed and grown.” After said growth, they wanted to expand their business development capability fast in order to handle that workload.
