Minite Works, a dynamic platform with over 20k talented students, is launching HerFuture — a groundbreaking initiative to connect female students with top tech companies like Booking.com, Picnic, and Accenture. We're addressing the underrepresentation of women in tech, and we're looking for a dedicated Jr. Full-Stack Developer to help us build and maintain these innovative platforms. What you'll be doing:

• Development and maintenance of the Minite Works platform: Work on our established Minite platform, which is used by over 20k students to find freelance opportunities.
• Development and maintenance of the HerFuture app: Work on our brand-new application, specifically for our female students.
• QA, Review and Test: Test new features before deployment, review code changes and write automated tests to make sure we don’t have any unwanted bugs or behavior.
• Collaborate with other teams: Work closely with the marketing, design, and sales to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Random stuff: It's never boring at a startup and that means there's always something to do. Don't be surprised if you get pulled into a brainstorm meeting or if you make a new landing page for a new initiative. Your day can go any way!

You are a match if you meet the majority of the following requirements:

• Have some sort of app development experience.
• Worked with web technologies before.
• Have a bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science or software engineering (or equivalent working experience/mindset).
• You are a startup and impact lover. A startup is not for the faint of heart - you gotta love the hustle.
• Have some form of work experience: You must have at least done an internship or a (parttime) job, so you've already got a taste of the working life!
• Are available for 40 hours a week and can work 3 times a week in our Amsterdam office.
• Possess the willingness and curiosity to improve your engineering skills continually.
• Live in the Netherlands.

It’s a plus if:

• You have experience with Flutter, React, Typescript, Node.js, or AWS.
• You have worked with Webflow before.
• You know how to work in an agile methodology, have worked in sprints before, and know Jira (or other similar ticketing systems).
• You speak Dutch.
